As a first-generation Latina I've had to balance between languages and culture. This space allows me to look at my roots in all their twisted and reaching beauty.

This space (The Green Desk) and site (ampspoetry) is where my love for mossy corners, dog-eared pages, and enjoyment of each season can thrive.​ It is in this space that my creative life meets the domestic reality: poetry between playtime and planting, herbs drying next to fresh bread, meditative rituals like spellwork that blur the line between need and want.
